|School calendar updated after snow/emergency day uses|

The Pattonville Board of Education on Dec. 9 approved changing Jan. 16, 2015, to a student attendance day in order to make up one of the emergency days used in November. Jan. 16 was originally scheduled as a professional development day with no students in attendance. The professional development day will be moved to the end of the school year.

Cold and flu season is here. Please consult with your child’s physician to find out when flu shots will be available for your family. Students with chronic health conditions, including asthma, and those who are immunocompromised are highly encouraged to obtain a flu shot early.
Local hospitals have been experiencing increased volume in recent weeks, especially among young asthmatics. Click here to review important information from the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services regarding the enterovirus/rhinovirus, a virus that causes the common cold.
|Pattonville kindergarten registration is March 4|

On March 4, Pattonville will begin enrolling children who will attend kindergarten next August. Kindergarten registration will be held in all Pattonville elementary buildings during the following time periods on March 4: from 9 to 11:30 a.m., 12:30 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. Children should be registered in the school office at the elementary school currently serving the area where their home is located. In order to attend kindergarten next school year, children must be 5 years old on or before July 31, 2014.

We've been carefully monitoring weather conditions. Based on the most recent weather reports the safest course of action is to dismiss early today. The schedule for early dismissal is:
10:30 am - High School
11:15 am - Middle School and Remington
12:00 pm - Elementary
Early Childhood - No Afternoon Session

On Tuesday, Nov. 5, Pattonville parents, staff and other community residents are being asked to vote on an important issue - Pattonville’s Proposition P. Prop P is an operating tax levy increase that has been placed on the ballot in order to maintain and protect the quality of educational programs and staffing levels in the Pattonville School District.
