|Tuesday, August 27, 2013|
The Pattonville Board of Education on Aug. 26 approved a resolution calling for an operating tax levy increase election on Nov. 5, 2013, in order to maintain and protect the quality of programs and staffing in the Pattonville School District as well as overcome a potential operating budget deficit of $10 million. Voters will be asked to approve Proposition P, an overall tax rate increase of $0.9972 per $100 of property's assessed value, however due to St. Louis County's unique four tax-rate system, the increase for residential homeowners is limited to a 35-cent increase for as many years as possible.
